My mom and I talked mostly about her childhood and what her life was like since she lived in France and England. I also learned a lot about my grandparents and what their life was like.
I asked my grandma a multitude of questions. We talked about her life growing up, meeting my grandpa and everything in between.
Our interview centered around family and faith. This included stories about my grandfather’s childhood, stories about his children and grandchildren, and stories from his time in service.
During my interview, I learned a lot of my father that I did not know! I love him and asking him many questions broadened my knowledge of his life.
While I was traveling through France, I stayed with Michel and Anne at their home in Bordeaux before leaving for Tarbes.
We talked about Babou’s life and her ups and downs. She is a very interesting person and has a lot to say.
