This interview is about my Grandfather’s experience in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He goes in depth on what some of his experiences were and how it affected him.
My mom’s family in Chicago (Near West Side, River Forest/Oak Park, and Lake Geneva).
We talked mainly about my grandparent’s childhood and his experience in the military.

My grandfather served in the Vietnam War, and in 1965 he headed home for Christmas on leave. It did not go well.
We discussed Nelson Family History and what life was like for them in Pensecola, Florida. Also, his time in the Air Force branch of the military after World War 2.
My dad was a warrant officer in the Vietnamese Air Force during Vietnamese War, so i make the interview about his military life.
