My name is Melanie Riera and i’m 18 years old and i interviewed my mom Diana. We discussed early childhood and family life and what it was like to grow up and eventually escape Cuba.

In this interview my mom talks about her life growing up in Cuba and studying abroad in Barcelona.

Mario Núñez (63) shares a conversation with his mother, Carmen Núñez (91), and father, Philip Núñez (93), about their memories of New York City, how they first met, their marriage, their family, music, baseball, Tampa, Florida.

Questions were asked about her childhood, marriage, and parenthood were asked. Tammy discussed her experiences and thoughts on these topics.

We talked about my dads life in Cuba and how he ended up coming to the United States.

This interview was in Spanish. It talked about the life my mother, Lucia, had in Cuba. The events that occurred, how her father was a doctor and it was very difficult to leave because he was needed in hospitals.

My dad and I discuss what it was like growing up with immigrant parents.

I spoke to my paternal grandma about her early life, school, family, faith, and immigration.

We discussed the challenges in their lives and how their relationship brings out each other's best and worst. My grandfather also enlighten us with his stories of his prior years living in Cuba.
