Today I talked with my grandpa who watch racism in Wisconsin. He grow up in Michigan and was a journalist and then moved to Milwaukee to work for the city.
This was an interview about my Grandma’s life starting from the 40s progressing to present day. It has her thoughts, opinions, and ideas and how worldly events have shaped her.
My dad, Charles E. Johnson Jr., talked with me about him life growing up in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. We discuss racism, segregation, life lessons, and family. We end on talking about the funny story of my birth.
This interview is conducted by a student, Jonah Schifano. The interviewee is one of his teachers, Timothy Ustruck. This interview is about how race is viewed in Nicolet High School.
