Interviewing my father about his culture and background and how that impacted his life.

This recording is an interview I did with my mom discussing her Taiwanese heritage and some of the struggles she faced and noticed as a child but also the pride she has in her culture.

Growing up I wanted nothing to do with my native language or culture. Soon I realized that my culture allows me to do what I most love… teaching Spanish.
