I, Charley Ryann Shannon age 14, the interviewer, am interviewing my great grandmother, Patricia Ann Bailey age 80, about her life and what it was like growing up in the times she did.

I interviewed my grandma and asked her about her history of immigration. We talked about some of her difficult times, how much she struggled moving to America, her journey from India to the United States, etc.

We talked about our lives growing up and our opinion about how far things have come.

A 12 year old who organized a Black Lives Matter protest speaks with her mom who immigrated alone to the United States about how each of them have experienced race and how this has shaped their lives.

This interview was about how my father migrated to the United States as a young adult. It shows the success and difficulties that he faced while migrating.

We discuss childhood, friendships, and love. It's funny how the crazier parts of the interview happened when the recording stopped
