On November 26, 2017 I, Ashlynn Bara, interviewed my dad, Staśi Bara in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. He talked about his childhood and how he became the dad he is today.
We talked about my mom’s childhood and upbringing. We also talked about what she hoped for me and my future and how I have been as a child.
This was my first StoryCorps interview. I sat down with my mom as we were celebrating Thanksgiving in 2015. I had just celebrated my 36 birthday. I love my mom and this is a great memory for us both!
