Description

Recording November 18, 2018 -- Amy Alkema describes her early experiences of going to the library in California and finding a 'happy place to read. As a mother she has continued the tradition of taking her children to libraries including the Hurricane Branch and the new Hildale Library both located in the Washington County area of Utah. She is grateful for the close proximity of the Hildale Library to the local elementary school.
Amy belongs to the book club which meets the third Tuesday of every month with her favorite selection being "All the Light We Cannot See." She would like to see the library be a stronger hub for a meeting place in the future.
