With over thirty-years of experience in aerosol research as a Project Leader on NASA’s AERONET program, retired NASA scientist Brent Holben knows his way around those finer details. Now three-months into his retirement, Brent walks us through his adventurous world-trotting career researching aerosols at the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia and beyond, chats about how growing up on a wheat farm in Idaho influenced his research, and recalls the creation of NASA’s influential AERONET program.
