Dr. Chelle Gentemann is the Open Science Program scientist in NASA’s Office of the Chief Science Data Officer. In this role, she works to understand the impact, and development assessments, of NASA’s strategy for Open Science. She recently sat down with us to talk about how she discovered the research benefits, as well as the collaborative and inclusive aspects, of open science initiatives, the importance of diversity in leadership, her winding path into NASA, and the ability to grow through failure.
