Description

For Jim Pizzuto, a career in science was never the plan. His father was a landscape painter, and he grew up surrounded by art and the majestic landscape paintings that his father produced. By the time he entered college, he had his sights set on becoming a musician. However, after completing an introductory geology course, his deep appreciation for music and the arts soon became his motivation to pursue science, as he recognized the importance of creativity and imagination in observing and learning about the world around us.
