Description

Krystal Yhap’s interest in urban water resource management was sparked by the conversations around water safety in Flint, MI. She’s now a graduate assistant at the University of Maryland studying the water system in San Francisco. She talks about her surprise that the high population growth rate is straining the system more than climate change and the difficulty in coordinating data management across agencies. Ultimately though, she most enjoys this kind of collaborative work and looks forward to sharing it in a way the public can understand and appreciate. (Recorded 11 December 2018)
