Kim Spitzmiller (62) from Charlottesville, VA and Samuel Orlando (22) from Charlottesville, VA spent a lot of time discussing the influential people in their lives and how they've learned from others and life experiences. They both value human connection, and this passion is palpable throughout their conversation. Samuel discusses his father's early influence on his political beliefs, while Kim talks about how coming from a hardworking, blue collar background has shaped her views. Both agree that being able to have lengthy, sometimes hard conversations with others is an important skill.
