Many life lessons

We talked about my Dad’s experiences coming to America and living here as a green card holder and then later as a naturalized citizen. We also spoke about his relationship with my mother.

I interviewed my mamaw and learned a lot of new things about her and my family. My mamaw and I are very close.

I interviewed my father and we talked about his early childhood in Germany, his education, career, his travels through the world, and the places he lived in. I chose to interview my dad because I find his story very interesting.

We talked about what it was like growing up during his time, his jobs, spirituality, and career path.

This is my 97 year old great-grandmother, Nana. She is such a fun spirit and I’m so glad I got to interview her. I do wish this was when we were together, but it still happened. :)
