Interviewing my grandmother, Elisabetta, who immigrated from Italy to America with 8 children and one on the way.
This is an interview between my grandmother Lauretta Alberti and myself. The questions were compiled by the extended family and the interview occurred during a family reunion over the 2015 Thanksgiving weekend.
I talked with my Nonna about her life in Italy, what is was like to immigrate to NY and raise a family here, and tried to solicite life advice from her.
