I learned a lot of interesting things about my family history. I had no idea that my great grandfather marched with Dr. King.

I asked my grandmother about her childhood and how she wants to affect the world. I generated an understanding of how our major family tradition is to to good in the world.

I spoke with a very close family friend (a grandfather to me) about his experience in the 60’s. We spoke of Kennedy, the National Guard, Vietnam War, Segregation, and more.
