I got the pleasure of interviewing my grandfather, Joe Savage, and learned about my great grandfather’s time in WW2 and my grandfathers major influences

In this interview, conducted on November 25th 2018, Ann Martin Richardson (16) interviews her great aunt, Jackie Ramsbacher (92), about growing up during the Great Depression, her time in the WW2 war effort, and being a Rosie the Riveter.

Talked about life and lessons

I interviewed my dad who was in the Navy during World War II. He enlisted when he was 17 years old. We talked about why he joined, what his duties were,where he was stationed & life after the military.

With my grandfather who is 89 year old. Was alive when world war 2 was going on and he joined the war. He was lucky that he was never put in the line of duty.
